One of the outfits I wore while exploring Barcelona. This little black Attic & Barn dress has become an instant favorite for me, airy and light and perfect for spring and summer. Easily combined with other recent favorites in my wardrobe: the Acne pistol boots I’ve picked up in New York in February.
Yesterday evening, my boyfriend and I had dinner at Le John with some of our best friends. A cosy night with, good food, good company and good conversation, and definitely an excellent reason to dress up! Even during the week, I prefer to be overdressed wherever I go, but an occasion like this gives me the chance to go all out.
Something I wore while I was in Paris for one of my best friends’ bridal shower! We kidnapped our bride to be for a short and sweet trip to her favorite city and had so much fun. These were taken while we were enjoying a very decadent brunch at Marcel in Montmartre. It was on the corner of the cutest residential dead end street and we spent hours of talking and laughing in the first rays of spring sunshine on the terrace. Memories we’ll surely treasure forever!
Happy monday, you guys! Here’s what I wore last weekend on a day trip to Brussels. Dieter and I went to the Horta museum and had coffee and dinner in the city on saturday, it felt like a tiny getaway. It was great to finally spend a day together after almost 6 weeks of living & working in the same house, yet somehow never spending quality time together.
Every february when our summer collection arrives, I feel overwhelmed by a longing for spring. It’s a bit confusing, because at the same time we’re also picking out new items for next fall, so we’re totally bombarded with new impulses. I don’t have the best memory when it comes to numbers and figures, but lucky for me I do when it comes to colours, textures, shapes and prints, helping me to keep track of all our purchases.
A simple winter outfit from a couple of weeks ago in my all time favorite “colour”, black. Sorry for the long silence over here, I have so much content lined up ranging from the Dries Van Noten expo at MoMu Antwerp, to some details from my New York trip last week, some outfits and some interior posts. Dieter went to New York because of a loft he’s renovating in Tribeca and I was lucky enough to join him (a little work for me, but mostly play). It was a great break but we really hit the ground running once we got back. This week has been a whirlwind of choosing collections and shooting new items for Lily and the Lady, and I’m trying to catch up as fast as I can. Anyway, back to the outfit!
Black is always a winner in my book. I love colour – a lot- but I think there’s nothing more powerful than black. It always makes me feel good when I wear it, and it sure makes getting dressed in the morning a whole lot easier on 90% of my days. I combined my (ancient) dressy Filippa K trousers with my favorite silk blouse and sneakers of the moment. Funny thing about these sneakers: they’re actually a couple years old, and I never really wore them much until about 4 months ago and now they’re pretty much glued to my feet. My hoarding habits finally pay off, result! Hope you are all having a great week!

Monday, monday! How are you all doing? This is what I wore last saturday to an Elisabeth food workshop. I almost went for my bright red silk blouse that morning, but realized just in time that preparing sugary treats and delicate fabrics do not play well together. So I went for basic (but always beautiful) black, my green coat and the latest treasure in my shoe closet: my new Dries Van Noten boots. Hope you have a wonderful week! Mine will include shooting the new collections for the shop, a day in London, some brainstorms and preparing for a trip to New York. It’s definitely bound to be eventful.

What I wore to a burger brunch at Gilles’ place last sunday. Gilles not only celebrated his birthday, but also the launch of his new website, Eat.Warm. Have a look here! So I wanted to be a bit festive but cosy at the same time, enter the pencil skirt with sneaker combo. A T-shirt to dress it down, a necklace to dress it up. Perfect sunday combination.

Hi guys! I hope everyone has had a wonderful time with friends and family the past couple of days. I certainly have, and there are a few more cosy moments coming up! Temperatures have slowly but surely here in Belgium and yesterday it finally started snowing. Perfect timing, I have to say, because I was cooking dinner for my wonderful friends all day. I only enjoy snow when I’m inside or somewhere in a ski hut.
With the temperature drop comes a winter ready look. A thicker sweater, my favorite coat and faux fur lined sneakers. Never knew how much difference that could make, but my feet are most certainly warmer and happier! I’m never really a fan of snow boots or anything like that, so these sleek winter-ready Keds are perfect for me. What are your tricks for surviving the winter cold?
