i guys! Are you getting into the holiday spirit yet? I’ve been working on a few Christmas related assignments, so I’ve been feeling very Christmassy since the beginning of december, even though I didn’t get the chance to put up my tree yet until this weekend! I also haven’t had the time to go Christmas shopping, but that’s less of a problem since I don’t really like crowds and as an avid online shopper I find it so much more efficient to click together what I want/need and have it delivered.W Amsterdam Bank Building

ast month, W hotels invited me to try out out their newly opened Bank building in Amsterdam. And when W invites you, well you go right? Three days of Amsterdam, in a luxurious setting? Yes please!DIY Easy Reupholstered Chairs
Once upon a time I bought a set of thrifted chairs. I really liked the shape but disliked the color, but thought that I could do something about that one day. As always, I considered just painting the surface, but a few clawing cat paws later painting the faux leather was no longer an option.
Finding the right fabric was a bigger challenge than expected, but when I was over at Dille & Kamille for my bedroom restyling, I discovered the perfect shade of pink, in a table cloth! As their table cloths are made from thick cotton, I quickly realized this would definitely work. Just over €20 well spent to give my vintage chairs a modern look.
Best European Interiors Blog & Thank You!

ou guys, big news! Last thursday I was in London to attend the Amara Interior Blog awards, and I am so very proud and honored to say I won in my category “Best European Interiors Blog”. I was nominated alongside My Scandinavian Home, Gucki, Minoop and fellow Belgian Greet from Belgian Pearls who I’ve gotten to know because of the awards (Thanks Amara!). I think I can’t quite believe it still, because October has been a bit of a whirlwind for me and somehow this all happened in a big haze.Home Renovation: Bedroom Reveal + How to make your bedroom fall ready

i guys, it’s been super busy over here, so I’m happy I have the chance to drop in for a lengthier post on the home renovation front, one that’s alllll about our bedroom in collaboration with Dille & Kamille! If you follow me on instagram you’ve maybe seen that I’ve spent 3 days in Amsterdam with W hotels (more on that later). Later this month I’ll be going to London, France and maybe even Milan. I’ve been working on and planning some really lovely projects so definitely exciting times over here.
Back to the bedroom! I’ve teamed up with Dille & Kamille for a complete restyling of our tiny but cozy bedroom. As you maybe remember from this post, I initially wanted to create an all white space, but i quickly got a bit bored and wanted more colour so I decided to change things up. The new plan was to create more harmony with the pink closet, because you see the room from our bedroom. The first step was building my own bed (DIY to come) this mini makeover of my vanity, and then I reupholstered a set of vintage chairs with a dusty pink fabric that matches the closet walls perfectly (also coming up). You may remember the “headboard” as this DIY project I did two years ago. Dille & Kamille provided me with the finishing touches and voila, here we are! A more grown up bedroom that no longer has just a mattress on the floor, and is completely fall ready!

Behind the scenes at Farrow & Ball

f there’s one thing my inner geek loves it’s a factory visit. So when Farrow & Ball invited me to visit their HQ in Dorset I was super excited! This mini trip to the UK on my own consisted of an afternoon in London, a night in Bournemouth and an exciting day with fellow bloggers from all over the world in Wimborne, the home of Farrow & Ball. The reason for this visit was to celebrate Farrow & Ball’s 70 year anniversary and the launch of their new wallpapers, inspired by the 1940s.The Robey by Nicolas Schuybroek and Marc Merckx

ver since I spotted the first images in August I’ve been very interested in seeing more of The Robey Hotel, a Chicago based boutique hotel that opens in the fall and was designed by fellow Belgians Nicolas Schuybroek and Marc Merckx. The Robey is situated in a 1929 Art Deco triangular shaped building called the Northwest Tower, and has been undergoing the transformation from office space to hotel for the past few years.
