The final pieces for the bedroom

Our bedroom upgrade is slowly but surely coming together! I’ve moved some furniture around, gave my vanity yet another lick of paint and printed some of my photographs. Before I show you the complete before and after, I wanted to share the newest addition to the room.

While we were upgrading the bedroom, Belgian brand Ethnicraft reached out to me for a collaboration. I love many of their solid wood pieces, and ended up selecting one of these timeless pieces for our home.

One thing I have always lusted after is a bench at the foot of the bed, very much in line with what we had in mind for the overall vibe of our bedroom: a sanctuary with a luxurious hotel room vibe. As you can guess, that is exactly where this gorgeous bench pictured here ended up, but I wanted to showcase it in all its glory before the reveal. I ended up picking the Spindle bench designed by Nathan Yong and inspired by the traditional spinning wheel made out of responsibly sourced walnut.

The full reveal of the space will be on the blog this fall, but in the meantime you can check out more about our bed & bedding right here!

So what do you think of our newest addition? Do you love it as much as I do?
