Yesterday I had the pleasure of discovering the new home and garden fair Inside Out in Ghent and doing a little takeover of their social media! What I loved most when I was there, is the use of colour everywhere, so I’m showing you my favorite colourful impressions of yesterday + I’m sharing my favorite stops if you want to plan your own visit next weekend. Have a look!
5 Must do’s:
Ghent based design shop Ydee sells all kinds of wonderful brands like Muuto, Normann Copenhagen and Gubi, but their focus on the fair is on Danish brand HAY. I loved their styling, and their corner had the prettiest green walls!
Brussels based creative studio Baroness O. curated a well balanced selection of items to be sold at the Baroness O. Market. Items include books, soap, accessories and furniture from both well known brands to young designers.
Interior magazine Stijlvol Wonen created not just a booth but a whole house for the fair. It’s wonderfully designed and showcases some beautiful brands.
Creative agency King George created four rooms that offer inspiration using their favorite trends like velvet and tropical floral. Do make a stop at the King George Cafe as well, they offer tasty homemade lemonades that are a refreshing pause in between exploring.
Interieurkabinet is a wonderful shop with branches in Mechelen and Destelbergen. The Destelbergen store sells an Italian furniture brand called Saba that sells beautiful and cosy sofa’s. My favorite was a beautiful green velvet two seater. So pretty!
PS: If you don’t have a subsription yet, Bloomon is also present at the fair where you can get all the info!
