ink has become a recurring theme here on the blog, so I think it won’t come as a surprise that when I spotted this space on pinterest, my heart skipped a beat. Such lovely combination of pink, marble and brass (although my own preference is still brushed brass) . This feminine space is the ensuite bathroom of Australian model & TV presenter Rebecca Judd, designed in cooperation with Aimee Tarulli. Turns out the marble is actually a porcelain slab but it works equally well, doesn’t it? (And it’s supposedly easier to take care of.) I think the brass corners are my favorite little detail here.

the first thing that stands out for me in this bathroom is how unpractical it seems. Surely this family uses toothbrushes? In my case I also like having dental floss and mouth wash on the counter. Here, there could have bee a nice ( perhaps marble, to continue with the look) counter between the two vanities.
Or why are there no outlets by the vanity? For charging electric toothbrushes and shavers, it’s handy to have it near by.
Same with the shower, no room for anything. Who cares about the look of it, when the function is a complete failure.

Personally, I’d also get the toothbrush out of the way when taking pictures 🙂 In my own bathroom, I keep nothing on the sink except for the hand soap, I prefer it this way. I do have built in storage within reach, so it’s still practical. I agree with you on the outlets and shower, although I still think there could be a ledge somewhere we’re not seeing.
